After computer troubles and then connection issues with my ISP, I'm finally back online again. I hope to contribute more to this blog I started.
We celebrated a very quiet fourth of July. Jared had to work and I took my children to a fourth of July Festival they had at our church. I think we really had a lot of fun. I'll post pictures on the family site and a recipe of the yummy salad I made for the pot luck lunch as well if you'd like to check it out as well. After that we came home, just relaxed and watched movies together
Here's a quote that embodies my patriotic feelings on the fourth of July:
"There is nothing wrong with America that cannot be cured by what is right with America." -William J. Clinton
It is for the future of America that all of us keep trying to improve it and that we don't give up. There is always a little more that we can do personally and little better that we can become.

I hope your computer and ISP stay up this time. :(
and I hope you had a great 4th!
Thanks, Amanda! Our fourth was nice and relaxing.
Glad to see you back up again. I've been waiting for a new post to see what was new with you and your family.
Glad you had a nice holiday.
Heard you're in a new ward. How's that?
We sure miss you. Hope a visit to Jared's hometown is in the near future.
