I keep looking at this book but it just seems too weird for me. I have two this week. My YA teaser comes from Fall for Anything by Courtney Summers and my adult teaser comes from Side Jobs by Jim Butcher. Happy reading!

"Mian Abdullah was a false start for a lot of people; his assistant (whose name could not be spoken in my father's house) was my mother's wrong turning. But those were the years of the drought; many crops planted at that time ended up by coming to nothing."

Here is my teaser from Out of Touch by Brandon Tietz (Page vii):

I used to be the kind of guy that would have no problem reading Playboy or Hustler on an airplane, but that me in "the before," and nearly everything has changed since that time in my life a little over a year ago.

This is not a coming of age story.

If that's what you're wanting then I suggest you put this down and read something else: something with a happy ending. Like Penthouse.

Or: the funny pages.

This is me giving you your official warning.

Because where this goes, you might not be ready for.

Well, that should make life interesting, at least! I've been seeing this one all over the place lately. Good teaser!

Here’s my teaser.

Ok have to say that had me with a puzzled look, following your path by a matchbook cover, interested in how you go about doing that .

The title is great and the concept of the matchbook cover is hilarious if it is as I would interpret it.
I haven't seen advertising matchbook covers in years.
