j-flamingo reflections

Inspired by the grace and beauty of the flamingo, my life reflected by my love of reading, writing and creating.

Overall cheers for Read-a-thon-er's!

I've been cheering to as many as I could throughout the night. I wasn't able to get to a lot of you during the day because I had a very busy one. I'd like to send my overall cheers and love tonight to all of you who admirably participated in the read-a-thon this Spring season. Sorry that I wasn't able to visit your blog personally. I hope you had fun reading those beautiful books!
I was able to get a bit of reading time in for myself, I'm reading Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins, so you can expect that I had to read it's eventful pages even though I couldn't be a reader myself this time. Overall, I simply enjoy cheering and reading what you have to say in your blogging about reading so much. I hope to read, see and cheer you on during the next read-a-thon too.
Meanwhile, keep on reading!

All good books are alike in that they are truer
than if they had really happened
and after you are finished reading one
you will feel that all that happened
to you and afterwards it all belongs to you;
the good and the bad, the ecstasy, the remorse,
and sorrow, the people and the places and how the weather was.
~ Ernest Hemingway ~

The end of reading is not more books but more life.

About this blog

Welcome Readers~to my blog! A tiny extension of myself and my life. Here, I'll share this journey through my top passions in my life - reading, writing, and creating. You can expect to read poetry, view my papercrafts and read design related posts. Every once in a while, I hope you'll grasp an honest feel of my heart. If you haven't noticed, I love flamingos! I think they are beautiful birds. *Thanks for your attention.*

She is pure Alice in Wonderland, and her appearance and demeanor are a nicely judged mix of the Red Queen and a flamingo.
